Rochstraße

In den historischen Bahnbögen der Markthalle in Berlin-Mitte entsteht darüber ein mehrstöckiges Gebäude. Am Ende der Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße wird ein Brückenbau mit einer sogenannten Bikini-Etage errichtet. Das Gebäude soll Raum für Galerie, Theater und Veranstaltungsflächen bieten und mit einem großzügigen Foyer sowie Künstlerlofts eine neue kulturelle Adresse nahe dem Alexanderplatz schaffen. In den Kellergewölben der Bahnbögen ist zudem ein Club geplant.
Above the historic railway arches of the market hall in Berlin-Mitte, a multi-storey building is being created. At the end of Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße, a bridge structure with a so-called bikini floor is being erected. The building is intended to provide space for a gallery, theatre and event areas and, with a generous foyer and artists’ lofts, to create a new cultural address near Alexanderplatz. A club is also planned in the vaulted cellars of the railway arches.
