DDR in Objekten – Band 1, 2 und 3

Mit der Trilogie »DDR in Objekten« präsentiert das DDR Museum ausgewählte Objekte aus der Sammlung aus vier Jahrzehnten DDR-Geschichte. Band 1 zeigt auf 400 Seiten 1.200 Objekte der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik aus den Bereichen Alltag, Heim und Konsum. Band 2 widmet sich auf 400 Seiten mit mehr als 1.000 Objekten zu Freizeit, Kultur und Reisen. Mit dem Band 3 »Arbeit, Wirtschaft und Politik« schließt das DDR Museum die Trilogie ab.
Die Autor*innen Dr. Stefan Wolle und Quirin Graf Adelmann v. A. eröffnen in den Sammlungsbänden ebenso unterhaltsame wie informative Einblicke in das alltägliche Leben sowie in die Wirtschafts- und Produktgeschichte dieses vergangenen Staates.
With the “GDR in Objects” trilogy, the DDR Museum presents selected items from its collection spanning four decades of GDR history. Volume 1 shows 1,200 objects of the German Democratic Republic across 400 pages, covering everyday life, home and consumption. Volume 2 dedicates 400 pages and more than 1,000 objects to leisure, culture and travel. With Volume 3, “Work, Economy and Politics”, the DDR Museum completes the trilogy.
In these collection volumes, the authors Dr Stefan Wolle and Quirin Graf Adelmann v. A. provide insights that are as entertaining as they are informative into everyday life and the economic and product history of this bygone state.
